Decided to go for a drive over to Amwaj and have lunch at one of the restaurants on the Lagoon. We picked The Persian Room and it was delicious. This was entree and it consisted of a hommus, two eggplant dips and and a green salad with pomegranate, walnut and feta all served with fresh flat bread. The owner of the Persian room is Iranian/ American heritage and most of the recipes came from her grandmother and mother and she has put her take on them with delightful results.
