Barking up the tree

Stopped off at the James & Ethel Grey Park in the Johannesburg suburb of Birdhaven last week, and was amazed at the varied aspects of the bark on the tall gum trees that cover a large area of the park, and decided I had to return with the camera.

Taking the pics was the easy part, the difficulty came when deciding which one to blip.
