Companions

I went out for a walk in the garden today. My constant companions outside, Jack and Pepper, joined me as usual. They always follow us in the garden, as if they're scared they might miss out on something. Some days, you can barely move with them under your feet.
Everything has new growth after the rain. The Zucchini is flowering madly, so I suspect I will be searching for recipes soon.
The bees have settled after the weekend. We opened the hive to see how they're going and harvest some honey and the bees stayed cranky for a few days! But today it seemed to be business as usual.
