Real Ale...
Not the most exciting blip today, but I'm making an effort to get back into the swing of it so every photo helps! I miss having a little diary of my life - I remember so much more about the time that I was blipping every day than I do about the past year, so I'm going to try to be better at recording my days, no matter how boring they are! The X100 will make blipping so much easier, I never would have brought my SLR out to something like this.
This evening I was at a social event organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry. Although it's been a few years since I've done any chemistry, I still like to stay involved so I've kept my place on the Northern Ireland local section committee. Today we had our last meeting of the year and a Christmas lecture all about ale. It was actually pretty interesting! Of course there was plenty of ale on hand for tasting, though my allergies mean I can't drink it (probably a lucky escape going by the smell...).
I also met up with an old classmate and housemate, who I've been terrible at keeping in touch with. I'm shooting his wedding in March and hopefully tonight's meeting will spur us on to catch up a few times before then too :)
PS: I don't think the molecules on the blackboard have anything to do with beer!
