EF'ing life

Rant of the day

A 'neighbour' left this on our car today.

It's a narrow street with lamp posts that divide parking bays. On Monday we failed to park right up against a lamp post because there were rubbish bins in the parking bay (not ours). Once the bins had been taken in, it appeared that we had parked in a way that wasted less than a meter if space.

Clearly this annoyed someone when we didn't think to move the car - why would we??!! A polite 'could you move please' would have been fine and more effective.

The Husband and I have composed the following reply note:

Dear Neighbour

We have been parked here for 'ages' as we are entitled to by law and were not aware that this was a problem for you. We have moved our car.

As a first address on the issue, your note is impolite. Please learn some manners or at least give an identity or any future requests will be ignored.

Yours, Number 11
