Ground Control To Major Shaaamie ...

I took my Year 5 class on a tour of the Solar System today.

We blasted off just after first break. After stopping and having a wander around the Moon, we travelled on to Mars. We then did a 'space walk' (Jeanette had to miss out as she was wearing inappropriate footwear).

The children enjoyed eating their packed lunches in zero gravity conditions. I had to share mine with Dilraj, as he had forgotten his. As we accelerated to Warp Factor 5 and sped on past Mars, Timi and Tanisha felt 'rocket sick'. They obviously hadn't taken their travel sickness pills that morning!

We got back just before the end of the school day. What a trip ...
