We Love Our Animals

This is The Animals War Dispensary run by the RSPCA. It is a war memorial dedicated to war animals in the First World War. The bronze sculpture above the doorway was designed by Frederick Brook Hitch and the dispensary wad was opened officially in 1932. It is still open today to help animals. There are two Portland Stones plaques on each side of the doorway dedicated as a memorial to the animals.
