Sundial

Painted sundials do not have the full range of hours because it depends where they are as to when the sun catches them. This sundial carries the latin insciption "Septem Sine Horis" which translates as "Seventh without the hours". The meaning of this inscription must be that there are, on the longest days, seven hours in which the dial is useless.
