Taken From The Mound

This is the Parish Church of St Cuthbert, Edinburgh with the Caledonian Hotel in the background, blipped from The Mound at 10.00 this morning; the latest in an unofficial series of Thursday morning Edinburgh city blips. This was followed by a trip to St John of Lewis for a bit of shopping, including a smart frame for some fave blips. Got home at 2.30, just in time to see the sun set over the Pentlands. We've lived here almost twenty years, but I don't think I'd ever taken note of how early the sun disappears at this time of year.
