Innovation in lubrication...

Went skating with Joni today. We decided to go for a bit of street skating in Falkirk.

Do you know much about skateboarding? Some more observant pedestrian public will notice that skateboarders sometimes use wax on concrete kerbs and ledges to increase the likelihood of the metal axel sliding along the concrete obstacle.

In Falkirk, I was giving a bench some of my attention when one of the locals warned me not to sit on it as it was waxed with lard.

Then I thought, that's brilliant. What a stunning idea. You can do a perfectly easy nose slide across the bench and then when you get home, take a spatula to your board and do your chips. Genius!!!!
