Christmas Tree lighting at the Rockefeller Center

I wanted to go to the event when I heard about it initially. That was more than a month back. Last week I reminded myself. And so did I, today morning.

Then work came and I completely forgot. At 7 pm, S suddenly called me and reminded me that we were already late. The crowds almost drove me away until suddenly when the 48th street opened up and a handful of us got through just in time for the tree to twinkle first and then light up. There was a lot of music all along. I am not quite sure though, when Obama arrived and when he left.
