Study in Red

I have been fascinated with my neighbors Mountain Ash. It seems as it is the only tree of its kind in the neighborhood that has lost all its leaves, so all its red berries stand out brilliantly. From my living room window, this tree stands against the bluish green of a big juniper tree. I just don't have the lens to capture that lovely picture, so I settled on this one, showing the density of the berries against the blue sky. The birds have already started their harvest of berries!
