Pond Life.....

As a day which should have been a great day out we were so disappointed as there just were not enough game around, and the price we had to pay meant we were not a happy bunch.
The highlight of the day was the company and the food, even if I couldn't have much of it, the chef surpassed herself so we left a good tip as for the game keeper well he had his tip reduced by 50% needless to say we will not be going back.

The pond where we were shooting was just so pleasant and I found myself drawn to it and managed to have a sit and watch the others scoff Bacon Sandwiches whilst I had some soup.

Great bunch of folks, roll on next year, and BTW we had a reduction in the cost of 50% as the owner was not best pleased with the Gamekeeper.
