rue Saint-Charles

It was so good to have a sunny, clear day here for the first time in a while!

Ch had the day off school today so we had her two friends over this morning to work on their group project on the French Revolution. They worked steadily for two hours and ate lots of cookies. (Adults will usually leave a couple cookies on the plate, but these kids were sure to finish every last one!)

Th wrote her first exam (Bio) and was pleased with how it went. She was home in afternoon with me and Ch so it felt a little like a week-end.

I ran some errands over the in 15th arr this evening, which is where I spotted these pretty lights on rue Saint-Charles, a market street that we seem to end up on fairly often.
