Anniversary

Today is one year to the day that I attested and since getting out to my division I have never looked back. I can say with all my heart that I love it, I could never imagine being anything else.

I am a Special Constable at the moment but as soon as recruitment starts I will be pouring everything I have into becoming a full time regular.

I work full time in the Police Contact Centre (Remember everyone that the new Non Emergency Number is 101) So I see all sides of what we do from beginning to end and I can safely say that those that besmirch our name? Well they're the ones that will always call us first.

The Police may have its detractors but I believe in what we do to my very core and am proud to be part of it.
