St Andrew's Day: Sushi & Saltire

Not taken in downtown Tokyo, but in St. Andrew Square, Edinburgh.

...from the Scottish Capital to the World...

It is a shame we didn't chose a day in a warmer part of the year to celebrate our national day, although this being Scotland it would probably rain anyway....

It's also encouraging to see the day get more recognition in recent years - if only it had the same sort of following as St. Patrick's Day. Maybe one day.

And as a Scottish Andrew, this also happens to be my day - any gifts, big or small, will be most gratefully received (cash is preferred)!
