It's Easy Being a Sheep

Eat, poop and get shaved. That's all there is to it.

Actually, the question that came out of the blue from the back of the car as we drove back from Euan's appointment at the orthodontist, passing soggy field after soggy field filled with soggy looking sheep, was "Do you think it's easy being a sheep?" The lengthy discussion that followed, including the clarification that when he said 'shaved' he did mean 'sheared', came to the conclusion that it was indeed easy being a sheep.

Yep, we'd all have a much easier life being sheep.

I'm sure someone on here posted an explanation of these clumps of trees a while back*, but I'm buggered if I can remember who or when. I think it was something to do with them being hiding places for game birds that could be chased out and shot at by the rich land owners around the Dunmore Estate they're planted on. Easy meat.
