Sunrise with ponies

I feel a mini series coming on. It's been so cold on the bike recently that I just want to get to work and then get home. The mornings have been lovely but the rest of the day........I was hoping one of these ponies would look up when I peered over their wall in my fluorescent gear, but they were too busy packing in the calories.

I also have to correct my ignorance (or so hubby says!) Yesterday's contrails couldn't possibly have been from planes arriving and leaving at the local airport as, apparently, they are from planes travelling at much higher altitudes! So now you know!
