A pear of avocados, early winter

Went out into the garden and took advantage of some low, winter sun to get my first blip under my belt. Took some snaps of a climbing plant that's taking over one side of the garden. It really is triffid-like. It looked like a likely contender. But it was just so damn UGLY.

On the way back in I snapped a gallia melon, and these, at the kitchen table. Avocados - nature's grenades. Beautiful colour. Known as Alligator Pears in the US. Although maybe that's the green ones.

Hass enough for now.
