Our minds can sometimes be clouded by past experiences that it is not always easy to see and accept generosity and kindness when it is sincerely offered. Instead of gratitude, we bite the hand extended in an offer of friendship. It is indeed a sad and terrible day when this happens. You can only hope that when you do make amends, that the other person will posses more understanding than you did.

Lesson learned: I need a good slap every now and then just to get me out of my headspace.
