Happy St Andrew's Day!

Tonight myself and 4 other Scots will celebrate St Andrew's the best we can.

Mince, tatties and doughballs with some Irn Bru followed by shortbread. The best we can do without resorting to haggis from a tin! Having been brought up on MacSween's haggis you can't then have haggis from a tin! My mother would be horrified!

The summer has arrived with today reaching 27 degrees and my Kiwi colleagues are shocked that we are eating mince on a day like this yet we will because we would if we were at home.

So I hope all my fellow Scots enjoy the day where ever they are and what ever they are having!
