A novel Idea ...
Well, handed in my essay - hoooray! Got a B for it, a lower end B and Ill admit I was a teeeny bit disappointed but Ill take it. Still a B I suppose, it works in banding so goes A1, 2, 3 and then B1,2 ,3 and so on....so I got a B3 which is a lower grading than say a B1. But, still hopefully on track for a 2:1. That would make it all worth while. I'm not an A student, and I don't even feel bad when I say this but I work my butt off sometimes (not always I have to admit) and it never happens, three and a bit years through uni and Ive only ever had one A. But B is good. Better than C and better than Fail. We even have a grade you can be allocated which is BF - Bad Fail. No jokes folks.
Anyways, I have my exam a week today - no rest for the wicked, and then am free for Christmas. Not quite, my module after xmas is my English one and I have already ordered all my books off Amazon and no longer making the rookie mistake of buying brand spanking new. Purely because A. nowt wrong with a second hand book, actually prefer them. and B. Far too expensive!!!
So this is my first book on my reading list for my module; Post Colonial Texts.
It looks and sounds pretty good; English modules can be tough, alot of reading seems silly for me to moan about being a lit student but 7 novels in as many weeks needs dedication. So my Christmas break will spent getting ahead and eating lots of chocolates (diabetic ones of course ;)
