Nick's Bass

Didn't get time to take pics today! We had our work cut out to record the remainder of the album: six tracks with Nick & an extra a Capella makes 13 tracks in two days, including a few extra bass overdubs, backing vocals & guitar lines! So the next part of the process is the 'collaborative' part: I'll send out the basic tracks, unmixed to a select bunch of inspiring musicians & wait to see what magic they add before mixing, mastering & then pressing...but aside from being there at mixing stage and possibly adding the odd backing vocal, that's my creative input over with!
It's a sweet relief to have these songs down. They represent a terribly hard portion of my life that I am leaving behind me. I hope that what these songs embody is grace & compassion rather than negativity & anger. I am passing into a more positive phase of my life.
