Feet up

And rest. Have been on the go all day so with these just coming out of the oven it seems a good time to make a cuppa and head to pastures comfy. Unfortunately or fortunately I have chosen to hide away on my bed with R4 and the papers. Unfortunately as I think there is a very real possibility I will snooze off before I manage to herd the kids bedward. On the other hand a power nap would make it more likely I make it to the Christmas Fair meeting later.

Despite not quite having the right ingredients (a little self raising flour to top up) which resulted in some oddly shaped and not quite evenly cooked cookies they've gone down well.

On the upside at least with the strike we won't be rushing out of the house in the morning. Unless I suggest Carl takes up our Prime Minister's suggestion and takes them to work with him!
