Hair Raising!

Not much on the cards today, as mum is having her pre Xmas perm. Since she is housebound, we have a mobile hairdresser come to the house . So----what to Blip today.???? "It's all in a name" I thought, "so why does this talented young woman simply call her business Nash?"
'You gotta have a great name, Anna You gotta have a name that sticks out - a name to be remembered. You gotta have a name that people feel good about, laugh about, tell their friends about - but above all - you want a name that digs itself a hole right in here.' Jack jabbed his right temple with his pointing finger.
'Hey, I don't need to be preached at, Jack. Don't think I don't know how important a name is. Give me some cred, will you.'
'Yes, I know you know. I am just reinforcing that knowledge. I mean, look at this place? So perfect. My god Anna, you're next door to a Starbucks! The rent's a steal. Parking's good ... give it the right name and you are gonna hit the big time in a big way.'
Maybe Starlocks would have been an ideal name for Anna to call her new hairdressing business,in this extract, due to the situation of the premises. What do you think? I have made a list of a few possibilities but am sure you will have much more scintillating and original ideas. Have a go. Here are some suggestions:
A Cut Above, Ali Barber, Bangs for the Memories, Blood Sweat and Sheers, Blown Away, Clippity doo da, Cliptomania, The Curly Gates, Cutting edge, Director's Cuts, Dye Hard, Dyenamics,From Hair to Eternity, Goldilocks, Hair and Now, Hairforce Hairistotle, Hairport, Hairs Lookin' at you Kid, Hairsay, Hairway to Heaven, Headmasters, Headshots, Highlights, Homecombing Queen, Julias Scissor, Locks of Luck, The Locksmith, Making Waves, The Mane Event, Millionhairs, Miss Tress, Off the Top of Your Head , Scissorhands, Shear Delight, Shears to You, Sophisticuts, Soul Scissors, Streaks Ahead, Talking Heads, Tease me, The Cutting Edge ,To Dye For, Top Knotch, Uppercuts and Well-comb All.
Even hairstyles themselves are named. Heaven knows where some of those come from. Here are just a few from over the years.
Remember the bob ladies, still popular with today's younger generation? What about the Finger wave, Ducktail, Pixie, Beehive - now there was a style and a half!! Then there was Bouffant , Afro, Corn Rows, Dreadlocks, Flick, Mullet Spikes, Mohawk, Rat Tail, Bowlcut,(had a few of those as a youngster) Emo, Fauxhawk, Combover, and last but not least Perm.
Any ladies out there remember home perms? The house would smell of 'Twink' or 'Toni' for weeks afterwards and you were left with enough frizz to last you a lifetime!!
Note to self: Amazing how many of these styles are for MEN!!
