Demolition of the Mushroom

To date just 2 buildings on campus are being demolished. What was known as the Mushroom, part of the School of Engineering is one of them. Not much was happening when I came along. Must have been lunchtime.

(Ohhh, heard that rattler coming! There goes my local faultline. It likes to remind us every now and then).

The slideshow shown here has 2 photos showing the distinctive mushroom shaped building back in the late '60s when it was built.

I'm off to visit Mum and Dad just until Saturday. Mum has a procedure tomorrow and I'm likely to get behind with my blips and commenting.
