High and Dry.

This is an old WWII Army hospital ship called the AH Krawarree or AH1733.

There were 5 built but this is the only one left.

It was used in the 1980's as a cruise ship but now it's going to be restored to it's former glory.

It had been in dry dock for the past year, but yesterday it was moved to Heritage Park which is just down the road from us, for it's restoration.

Once it's restored it will become a museum, so should be very interesting to have a wander around.
