Cold Smoke
Behold my friends, the annual inversion. Since Missoula is a valley, every winter there's an inversion of the air and we essentially get stuck in a cloud of our own making. Like Los Angeles, except ten times more scenic.
Chris took Schuck and I up to the "water works" trail today to enjoy some city views. Helped a little with the post-Thanksgiving food coma as well. We could see the whole valley as well as the mountain peaks around it. Up on Lolo Pass, we could see snow blowing off the peak like smoke, which is where the term "cold smoke" comes from.
And here I am thinking Cold Smoke was just a delicious microbrew...
