A Day to be Thankful For

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Cat and I hit the kitchen early to begin the Thanksgiving feast saga. Both of our mothers are accomplished turkey masters, so we had big shoes to fill. Finding ourselves to be spending the holiday away from our families, we decided to have an orphan Thanksgiving.

Six hours, 350 degrees, 5,000 dishes, one turkey, two dips, seven entrees, and two pies later, dinner was served.

The verdict? Delicious!!! Seriously, I know that's bad form...but it was all damn good.

And despite the awkward non-leg-touching-ness between us, believe it or not Cat and I have been best friends since we were five!
