In the can

I was looking forward to getting out and getting a photo in daylight hours today. I had the day off, to myself, with no plans. Except one, an order due for delivery this morning.

That's where it went wrong. I spent all day waiting for that 'morning' delivery, by the time it arrived at 4.30 that daylight had gone. When I phoned 'customer service' I was told that although I'd selected morning as my preferred time, the terms and conditions state that this can't be guaranteed. So sorry, but I'd just have to wait.

Anyway as I didn't dare pop to the shops for fear of missing the delivery this was about all I had in the house for lunch, and about all that I could photograph.

So apologies, but this blip is just about as interesting as my day off turned out to be, and I'm off to the supermarket now to stock up.
