On top of the world

Baller day! In the morning, my friends and I went to the fabric market where you can get suits, dress shirts, and coats custom made. I am picking up my purchases on Friday---I hope that they turn out all right!  When we exited the fabric market, my friend and I saw the Shanghai World Financial Center aka the bottle-opener building and assumed that we were in Pudong, thus we decided to walk to the building. After walking through some back alleys and crossing a few avenues, we ended up at the Bund... we were in Puxi the whole time, haha. After paying two kuai, we took a ferry across the river and walked around Pudong until we arrived at the building. We then rode the elevator to the 91st floor (it is the tallest building in Shanghai) and hung out there eating ice cream and such until it was dark and all the lights from the surrounding building came on. The anticipation for the Pearl Tower's lights was akin to waiting for the New Year's Ball to drop! Afterwards, we walked around Pudong admiring the city lights until we decided to take the metro back to Putuo.
