Lava lamp

I've been doing the finishing touches on the decorating I was doing last week, so I've stuck close to home today, as the weather's been plotting against me again.

I've had this lamp since I was seventeen. I think it's overdue for a new bottle, as the liquid's faded and there's less of it than there used to be. The wax still gives a lovely glow though, and makes the room feel very cosy.

I'm coming around to the placement of the switches on the Tamron 18-270 PZD. When I want to switch from auto to manual focus, I find that the switch is a little hard to reach (I have small hands), as priority has been given to the switch for the Vibration Control system. However, the auto focus is so precise that it's pretty rare for me to have to change over.
