Beauty in the car park
Hydrangeas are such wonderful plants - fresh green foliage, then huge, majestic blooms which mature as they fade, and beautiful leaf hues in autumn.
I spotted this one in a tub just as we were about to leave for the Friday walk which I was leading with a friend this week. It was around King's Cliffe and Blatherwyke in Northamptonshire - we had 21 walkers and we managed not to lose any of them. A great morning weatherwise and we finished with a lovely pub lunch.
