Thanksgiving Finale

This photo captures some of the decorations at church this morning. Immediately following the morning's activities, all of these decorations were going to be removed and the Christmas decorations will be put in place before next weekend.

Christmas decorating seemed to be the agenda in our neighborhood this weekend as well. Houses are lined with lights and all kinds of animated figures. It is all very lovely. One of the neighbors completely covers his front lawn in white sheets to hopefully resemble a white winter. Several of the houses have music playing in their front yards.

In 2 1/2 weeks the semester will end, so the next couple of weeks will be busy. This holiday weekend was a nice break from school. We've had a good holiday weekend. I hope you have a good week.
