Thorny Subject

Felt a bit rubbish tonight, WAY too emotional about stuff I shouldn't be affected by.

But cheered up when I saw that The Omen series of films were on Film 4.

Reminded me of one of my most precious memories...

It must have been 1986 or 1987 when Omen III was shown on TV for the first time. Me and my best friend (still my best friend) used to call eachother most nights if we weren't together (still do now) and we watched the WHOLE film while on the phone to one another*

We both had (have) a big thing for Sam Neill.

The bit when he is dressed up for fox hunting? Well let's just say it was a Revelation for us. (...book of maybe? )

*dad took the phone out of my bedroom when the bill arrived. I got in trouble. BIG TIME.

As in everything in life. I made a choice and it was worth it.
