After a slow start, soon sorted by a hearty breakfast, we left Glasgow and got back home. Decided to return to Levenhall Links just before sunset (ie about 3 in the afternoon) to show Meles the spot, as she is a big fan of Curlews (Nurmenius arquata). I don't think I've actually blipped one before.
A carrion crow (Corvus corone) helpfully flew into shot to provide scale. Those are Teal sitting on the water, and (I think) godwits (maybe both kinds) flying behind. So another fine (if bleedin' chilly) day.
