I went down to a local Beir Garten by the river Main and really did expect to see Portugal demolish the Germans. Well, what a turn up for the books! The German team went on to win 3-2, munch to the delight of the local "head the balls" sat just infront of me.

I really did think my number was up when one of them jovialy asked, "Bist du von der Zeitung?" - (Wurzburgie slang und everything) I had to admit I didn't have a clue what he was on about because I was english. They just laughed and said that my camera was "nice"... <sigh of relief>.

Anyway, I live to blip another day!
