Purple Season

It's the first sunday of Advent and the start of the purple season.

The first purple candle was lit at the service this morning.

This afternoon we had the switching on ceremony of the town Christmas lights, carols were sung, Father Christmas arrived and we had a Christmas fair. It was a lovely afternoon, children were having so much fun, a great start to the festive season!
