Had a lovely night last night and i did make it to the pub for a couple after all. It's good to get out again, it's been a while.
Today has been nicely quiet catching up with washing and sitting doing a bit of tapestry work followed by a visit from a friend for a couple of hours. I forced myself out for a 30 minute stroll down by my local canal as the sun was out and the wind had finally eased slightly. The path i follow runs alongside a cemetry before doubling back on itself to walk by the water. I love this particular statue sitting atop one of the tombstones. I think her face looks so at peace and she is so graceful.
