What do we want to see looking at a photography?

...that seems a more challenging question to ask oneself, I think, than to search after what it might represent of the "real"!?

I realise lately that I don't carry my new heavier and bigger G9 with me all the time as with my former little Sony! Which means i frequently in the evenings have no outdoor pic to post!

Today I desperatly went into my kitchen and spontaneously shot a few close ups of fragments from one of my refrigerator magnets, being made from a painting by Magritte!

Playing around with it in PS I got caught by this emboss-effect! I like that it seem to want to melt into the grey background, or maybe the opposite...emerging out of it!

...but is it any longer to be percieved as a photography?
