Walk in the Woods

I was given an unsuspected break today. I took A and S to a party at the Water of Leith, only A was meant to take part but S was invited to join in anyway. Apparently they were very cute, A looking after her, buttoning up her coat etc.

It meant however, that I had two hours to kill and all I had brought was my camera - luckily there is a nice walk in the woods direction of Colinton and I blipped a few things. I liked these leaves hanging on to their branches.

Not taking a long walk I then nearly fell asleep in the cafe waiting. It must be the antibiotics or their aftermath, I'm not usually that tired.

I walked all the way back in the dimming light, quite an experience. A and S were good walkers though and we made it home in time for the chicken.
