The Humble Cabbage

Layla has produced some particularly fine cabbages in her allotment this year so tonight we're going to do some potato and cabbage cakes with chilli sauce for dinner.

Breakfast
Bruchetta with garlic and fried tomato and Italian coffee.

Lunch
Toasted cheese and homemade beetroot chutney from the allotment, with hot chocolate with a splash of rum (well it was cold walking His Majesty)

Dinner
Potato and cabbage cakes with chilli sauce.
