Reflet des Lames

Even without the signboard on this shop in Villefranche, Pyrenees Orientales, I think you would guess in which country the shot was taken. The land enclosed within the fortifications is so restricted that most of the buildings are tall and the streets very narrow. The stone looks to have come from the adjacent mountain. Certainly it has a timeless quality to it and you can imagine that this building, which has been there for at least a couple of hundred years, is likely to be there in two hundred more.
