Photo Phunk

Feeling in a photo phunk as of late. I usually come back to the cats and playing with shooting light and shadow with them to get myself in that zone again but even that isn't doing it for me. Twice I have gone out at dawn only to come back empty - no photos of sunrise over waters.

I think it is that time between autumn and winter where we have gone out in a blaze of beautiful colors and the joy of hopping in the car to see reds and golds and falling leaves has ended. This is that peaceful place between seasons where I feel the need to regroup and expand into the silence around me - enjoying the feeling of land and sky and stars and letting the world shift around every corner of my being.

maybe it is not a phunk but a transition of sorts. I feel vast changes coming in my own life - huge wonderful good things. It will be fun to watch it all unfold. Ill or not - life still is a wonder.
