Family time

Another wet and wild day here with strong winds and generally miserable to be out and about in.

Kerrsdaddy was out last night and stayed over with a friend to save him getting a taxi all the way home. Kerr and I went to my mum's this morning and stayed there for lunch.

We then headed over to collect Kerrsdaddy. Thankfully Kerr napped in the car on the way there. The only way he will nap during the day now is if we are out in the car. He completely refuses to nap in his cot and has done for a good few weeks now. However, the strange thing is that on a Tuesday his childminder Jillian still manages to get him to nap for about 90 minutes, in a buggy in her living room! It seems he just accepts that that is what he does there.

When we got back home we got out Kerr's Lego and rebuilt his Duplo house. I said it was 'family time' and Kerr kept saying 'Daddy, it's family time!'. It was very amusing.

PS. note the Lego baby in an improvised high chair - higher than all the adults, lol!
