Preparing for advent?

Well, advent means time of expectant waiting and preparation so one can't exactly prepare for that, right?

But today we got the Christmas decorations from storage in the cellar and I made this lovely advent-bread, filled with apples, cinnamon, raisins, chocolate and sugar.

If you'd like to try something similar here are a few Danish recipes (recipes from Denmark, not recipes for a Danish... if you know what I mean! The one for Danish Kringle is almost the same as my recipe)
