Défense de jouer

This sign, on the wall of Eglise d'Auteuil, makes me smile. I can just imagine kids playing ball against the wall while a mass was going on and how annoying that might have been! It would be a tempting wall to play against.

The girls had intense Saturdays of homework. Th begins "compos" (midterm exams) next week and Ch has her usual amount of homework, plus a project on Important Figures of the French Revolution that she is doing with two other girls. We went to one of their apartments' to get it started this afternoon. Ch is responsible for Lafayette and Mirabeau. The other girls have Marat, Robespierre, Desmoulins and Danton. They might act out the scene when Charlotte Corday kills Marat in the bathtub!

Th worked at a food drive at a Monoprix in the 15th arrondissement this afternoon, along with a couple of her friends. She really enjoyed it and a lot of food was donated so I think it was quite rewarding for her.
