Fresh Pumpkin pie
Yes real pumpkin pie not from the store homemade:
2 cups of pumpkin (1 pound real fresh pumpkin cooked until tender)
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
2 Farm fresh eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoons ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 2/3 cup evaporated milk
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into pie shell bake in preheated oven at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Lower temp of oven to 350 degrees then bake for 45 mins. Let cool then refrigerate until cold. Serve with whipped cream.
Whipped Cream:
1 carton of heavy cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Beat in an ice cold bowl until stiff.
