The Red Cow

As mentioned previously I sometimes cycle along the the canal paths from Birmingham to Sandwell. Sometimes this can be a bit unnerving as parts of the journey can be too uneven and narrow to navigate confidently. I've heard stories of cyclists who've driven into the canal at known black spots. One person told me how, after crawling out of the canal - they made their way back home. On their way, a man spoke to them, not to offer assistance do the dripping wet cyclist but to ask 'excuse me love, can you tell me how to get to The Red Cow pub please?'
