Turkey and Lights night

Turkey day is here, so Happy Thanksgiving to all those who celebrate. I know I'm thankful everyday for my health, family and friends but I'm thankful everyday.

This morning was spent wishing Jose a happy birthday. I went to see her at her new home. Her and her boyfriend Graham just moved in together. It was nice to have a catch up and finally a morning off uni.

After class I headed to the Gardens to watch the lights being switched on. Here's a shot of the big wheel, seen through the Scots Monument. As I awaited the big tree light switch on I was tapped on the shoulder by Fiona. I haven't seen her in ages and had plans to see her the next day...felt like buses; none for ages then 2 come along at once.

To complete my apparent mission of how many friends I am going to see in one day I got the train home to be taken out to dinner by Heather and Steven. It was children free as HEC's mum was looking after them. We even got free cocktails, none of us are sure why but it was tasty!
